So I’m not a huge fan of basketball. I can’t claim that I know so much about it.
But my boyfriend does. And he actually made a movie out of it. See he’s from Lithuania. And last summer, he made this movie called Game of the Nation. It’s about the national Lithuanian basketball team and the tough training and mental prep they had to go through before they competed in Eurobasket 2011.
Now the thing is, he made the movie but is need of funds to complete things like the premier, subtitle translations, making DVDs and etc. So he’s set up an Indiegogo page to get some funds raised.
I know this is a long shot to ask. But despite us being complete strangers, let us unite in a common cause. Because this movie is about team work. And if a perfect stranger can help me out, I would eternally be grateful and know that there is always always going to be kindness in this world. :)
Every little help matters. And I can guarantee your help will go a long way. So reblog, retweet, or even like us on Facebook and don’t forget to visit our Indiegogo page!
And lastly, thanks for reading this you are simply awesome!
see you real soon :)
Inspired by French artist JR I decided I’d support his TED Prize wish this year. My group is called We’re All Mixed and we’re supporting ‘interracial’ marriage.
Why?
Because in essence, we’re all mixed. And the idea that we’re ‘pure’ something is purely fabricated to distinguish one another. At the end of the day, the only thing pure about us is that we’re humans. All of us.
So let’s stop using race as an issue and embrace the basic needs of every human being. Then perhaps then we’ll understand the REAL key to happiness.
Here are the portraits I’ve taken so far…

Thank GIF it’s Friday!
